Pool Rules
Windham Hill Pool Rules and Regulations
 
Normal Hours of Operation: Regular Pool hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Subject to Change by the Association).
Anyone in the Pool Area at other times shall be subject to prosecution for trespass.
Adult Swim: Adult Swim is 8:00am to 9:00am. Residents under the age of 18 are not to enter the property until 9:00am.
 
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY: The Pool is maintained for the benefit of the owners of property within the Windham Hill Homes
Association (the “Association”) in good standing. The Association does not provide any Life Guards or other supervision, and
patrons of the Pool shall use the facilities at their own risk. Residents are required to clean-up for themselves and remove all
their trash and disposables.
 
General Rules:
 
  1. Valid Key Card Required - Entrance to the Pool Area is permitted only to those persons with a valid Key Card. A Key Card can be issued to any resident who has attained the age of 18 years. A maximum of 2 key cards will be issued per address. A lost key card can be replaced for a charge of $15. A valid Release of Liability must be on file with the Windham Hill Secretary.  To request a replacement, use this form.
  2. Use by Residents and Approved Guests only - Key Cards may only be used by an owner of property within the Association or member of his/her household, or person occupying property of an owner with the owner’s consent, or member of that person’s household.
  3. Must have Release of Liability and Acknowledgement of Deed Restrictions on File - No admittance permitted to the Pool Area unless a validly executed and effective “Release of Liability” and “Acknowledgement of Deed Restrictions” is on file with the Windham Hill Homes Association.
  4. Pool Gate Must Remain Closed at ALL TIMES – The pool gate must be closed promptly after entering. Propping the pool gate open for any period of time is strictly prohibited.  The alarm will sound if pool gate is left open.
  5. Age Requirements - All persons in the Pool under the age of 14 must be supervised by a “Responsible Party”. A “Responsible Party” is defined as a person 16 years of age or older, who has the ability to swim.
  6. Pool Guests Limitations - Residents under the age of 18 years shall not have more than two (2) guests. The Resident must be present with their Guest(s) at all times. Residents 18 years and older may bring a reasonable number of guests. Please see www.windhamhillhoa.com for guidelines and rules for hosting a pool party or other event. Residents are requested to submit a Pool Party Request in advance of planned pool parties.
  7. Prohibited Activities - The following activities and items are prohibited at the Pool Area:
    1. Running, pushing, dunking, diving from pool deck, rough play, acrobatics, or other activity that creates a hazard to patrons or to the maintenance and operation of the Pool
    2. Glass items
    3. Chewing gum
    4. Animals or pets, except service animals, if applicable
    5. Rollerblades, roller shoes, skateboards or similar items
    6. Electrical devices
    7. Grills or other cooking devices either in the Pool Area or on the Pool Grounds
  8. Pollution of aquatic venue is prohibited.  This includes, but is not limited to, smoking, vaping and littering.
  9. No abusive or profane language, inappropriate conduct, intoxication, use of illegal substances or bullying will be tolerated
  10. Proper Attire - All patrons entering the Pool must wear a bathing suit. Street clothes are not permitted in the water.
  11. Shower before entering the water.
  12. Infants - Infants and non-toilet trained children are required to wear plastic pants or swim diapers.
  13. Diaper changing on the deck is prohibited.
  14. No person shall enter the pool who is obviously ill, has an open wound or sore, has any untreated fungal infection; has sore or infected eyes, has a discharging ear or nose, or any communicable disease.  Don't enter the pool if you are ill with diarrhea or have had diarrhea within the past two weeks.
  15. Do not swallow or spit water.
  16. Intentional hyperventilation or extended breath holding activities are dangerous and prohibited.
  17. In case of emergency, dial 911.
  18. Any violation of these rules may result in suspension of the violator’s pool privileges - Suspension of pool privileges shall not result in any adjustment or refund of HOA dues. The Pool Manager shall have full authority to enforce the Pool Rules on behalf of the Board of Directors
